Sweden

 Akrom moments:

We've arrived, the NZ flag flying in a good breeze.   Janne's cattle know when their treats are arriving.  Three Sellen family homes at Akrom. Dinner at Ulf and Titti's. Margaretta's cinnamon confectionery! The village gathers to say hello to the visitors, a great night.

Sundsvall
South Mountain views . Alnon island, Skatan Lorudden and the berries and views from Hallam Speliet mountain above Selanger

Graftavallen
This is a long held holiday place for the Sellen family, close to Norway. Three cabins and a great sauna now owned by Jenny. Jenny and Sara, jamming for us and lovely to listen to. Very good walking, lovely rivers, waterfalls and views of reindeer in the distance on the tops. Trolls are a feature in this community, commonly seen in the forests.

Uppsala and Alsike
We spent a few days with Sara and Ludde and family at home on Finnhagsvagen in Alsike. Great to visit Uppsala cathedral which was hosting a sculpture exhibition, and taking in the Botanical gardens and the town. We discovered Raggmunk, a Swedish potato pancke and pork dish, at a restaurant that was a favorite of Ludde's Father. Raggmunk is a keeper!
We found a new Five Crown champion, the incumbent champion was relegated to runner up and the NZ contingent could manage only third and fourth. Was great to see Laban, Irma and Ines at home, the only one we managed to capture on film this time was Ines. Sara sang for a gathering of work colleagues, and her family and us on a very hot and very pleasant afternoon. A lovely solo performance.
